In the given figure, the two lines are intersecting lines.

The lines are intersecting at one vertex.

Vertical angles are pair of opposite angles made by intersecting lines.

Let us define the vertical angle theorem.

Vertical angle theorem:

If two angles vertical then the vertical angles are congruent.

⇒ 150° = 2x° + 100°

⇒ 150° – 100° = 2x°

⇒ 50° = 2x°


$\Rightarrow (50)/(2)=x^\circ

25° = x°

Hence x = 25 degrees.
