P= 42

W= x

L= 5+2x therefore 42=2(5+2x+x)

42=10+6x , 32=6x

Make x subject of formula

X=32/6 x=5.3 there for w=5.3

Where L= 5+2x ; L=5+2(5.3)

L therefore = 15.6
