we factorize each parentheses alone so

(x+2)(x-3)

(x+4)(x+5)

(x+2)(x-3)=


{x}^(2) - 3x + 2x - 6

(x+4)(x+5)=


{x}^(2) + 5x +4x + 20

so we add them together

x^2-3x+2x-6+x^2+5x+4x+20-24

2x^2+8x+14-24

2x^2+8x-10
