1. Injury

2. Sedentary lifestyle

3. Lack of exercise

4. Poor feeding habits

Overloading is a method of applying stressor on the muscles so as to enhance their flexibility. When those stressors are applied, the muscles tends to break down into small pieces. This pieces then repackage together with new proteins to form a thickened muscle bulk that enhances flexibility.

There are some activities peculiar to some people that increase their flexibility. For example, skate running, tennis playing. Some others may still do this games and not benefit from flexibility
