Area of the triangle
=(5)/(12)\ x^2

Solution:

Base of the triangle =
(5)/(6)x

Height of the triangle =
x

Formula for the area of the triangle:

Area of the triangle =
(1)/(2)\ {bh}

Substitute base and height in the formula of the area of the triangle.

$=(1)/(2)\ *(5)/(6)x* x

Using exponential rule:
a^m*a^n=a^(m+n) so that
x^(1+1)=x^2

$=(5)/(12)\ x^2

Hence area of the triangle
=(5)/(12)\ x^2.
