1/2*4/9From a standard deck of cards, the four Aces, four 2's, four 3's, and four 4's are drawn, forming a smaller deck of 16 cards. All 16 cards are dealt at random to four players, so that each player gets four cards. What is the probability that each player gets an Ace?

Answer:

Probability P(each getting an ace) = 1/ 6144

Explanation:

Probability P(four aces) = 1/4

Probability P(four 2's)= 1/8

Probability P(four 3's) = 1/12

Probability P(four 4's) = 1/16

Therefore

Probability P( each getting an ace) = 1/4 + 1/8 +1/12 +1/16 = 1/6144

Answer: The probability that each player gets an ace is 1/256

Explanation:

Since there are 4 ace, if the card are to be sheared randomly, the probability that a player receives an ace is 4/16.

hence reduced to the lowest form, it gives 1/4.

therefore the probability that each gets an ace will be (1/4*1/4*1/4*1/4) =1/256
