What group were considered citizens in ancient greese

Males three groups: landed aristocrats (aristoi), poorer farmers (periokoi) and the middle class (artisans and traders). Labourers (the helots of Sparta).

Women belonging to all of the above male groups without citizen rights. Children categorized as below 18 years generally.
