Why do Muslims chose to read the Qur’an in the original language rather than translating it ?

Muslims regard the Qur'an as a source of guidance or road map for life, as well as being a source for knowledge about their faith and traditions. The Hadith are the Prophet Muhammad's teachings about how to live life according to the Qur'an.

Another reason that Islamic theology has always been opposed to the translation of the Qur'an is due to the very nature of the Arabic language. As translation into other languages is strictly the work of human beings, the translation process thus strips the original text of its sanctity.
