Constant exposure to temperature range of 43-50 degree Celsius is enough to cause tissue necrosis. Therefore manufacturers of furnace devices has taken into consideration some safety measures that can help prevent and protect against thermal burns. These measures includes:

- insulation of the furnace front surface which can conduct heat
