Answer:

Chargaff's rules state that DNA from any cell of any organism should have a 1:1 ratio ( Base Pair Rule ) of pyrimidine and purine bases. Basically the amount of Cytosine must be equal to the amount of Guanine and the amount of Adenine must be equal to the amount of Thymine.
