y=2.5x+3650

since you don't know the amount of units sold you make that x

you do know that the company has to pay a set amount each month for utilities and salaries. 350+3300

put this together, and you get the equation:

y=2.5x+3650

y=total expenses

2.5= price per unit

x= total units sold

3650=amount payed each month for utilities, and salaries
