The perimeter of a rectangle measures 24 inches. One side measures 7 inches. What does the missing length measure?

To find the perimeter of a rectangle you must add the lengths of all the sides, if one side is 7 inches the parallels side is also 7 inches. Therefore, the two remaining sides are both 5 if the perimeter is 24 inches.
