In an ecosystem which would have a bigger population: producers or primary consumers

Answer:

The answer would-be producers. The fact that there are primary consumers today, you would know that producers make up the bigger population. If it were smaller, the primary consumers would have eaten them all up and eventually would die out because they would have no more food source. This would be bad for all higher-level consumers.
