Protein is one of the most important biomolecule present among the living organisms. This protein acts as the building block of the body. The protein is made of the alpha amino acids that are connected together by the peptide bonds. Some molecules like water is released during the reaction.

Most important compounds of our body are made of proteins. Enzymes, clotting factors, antibodies and other conjugating factors all are made of proteins. Proteins play an important role in the biochemical pathways, in defense against the pathogen and provide protection role as well.
