Solve the inequality. Graph the solution set on a number line.
P+5>-3 and p+1<4

for the first inequality subtract 5 from both sides and then you would get p>-8 now the second inequality subtract one from both sides and you get p<3 to graph you put them both on a number line at their spots with a open circle surrounding the point for both inequalitys.
