f^(-1)(x)=(x+13)/(7)

Explanation:

Basically the inverse is when you reflect the function across the identity line, y = x . To find the inverse of a function, flip switch all x and y and solve for y, then replace y with
f^(-1)

f (x)= 7 x - 13

y = 7 x - 13

Swap x and y, we get

x = 7 y - 13

solve for y

x + 13 = 7 y

f^(-1)(x)=y=(x+13)/(7)
