Any licensee who does not notify the Commission of an address change will have their license inactivated. When the licensee is also the mama or poppa bear of the office (the employing or sponsoring broker) the penalty goes up. Since an employing broker with an inactive license cannot have licensees reporting to him/her AND a licensee who is not independent cannot have an active licensee without reporting to an employing broker - the effect is catastrophic.
