$9030? Would be the original price of the watch if he had sold it for one sixth of the original price at $1505

1290 is the answer
Take 1505/7 (because the price gain 1/6 of the original price)=215
215*6 =1290
You can check by take 1290/6=215
Then 1290+215will equal 1505
