Good evening ,

Answer:

x = StartFraction negative 8 Over 3 EndFraction, –2

Explanation:

3x² + 14x + 16 = 0

3x² + 6x + 8x + 16 = 0

(3x² + 6x) + (8x + 16) = 0

3x(x+2) + 8(x+2) = 0

(x+2)(3x+8) = 0

x = -2 , x = -8/3.
