Explanation: prokaryotes are organisms without membrane bound organelles and a distinct nucleus.this means they lack chloroplast.they however contains a photosynthetic lamellae which consists of chlorophyll and enzymes.an example is cyanobacteria.

A cyanobacteria is a photosynthetic bacteria.it traps energy from the sun and uses it to form food,with the release of oxygen.

It is in the photosynthetic lamellae that light reaction occurs.
