1. Put 350cm3 of distilled water into the beaker.
2. Dip the visking tubing in water to moisten it. fill half the visking tubing with provided sugar solution and then tie the open end of the tubing.
3. Immerse the visking tubing into the distilled water in the beaker and suspend it in the solution using the glass rod.
4. Leave the set up for 30 minutes.
5. Record your observation.
