- They feed on from the rock surface.
- They feed on seaweeds, animals that are static.
- They use a hard plate that is present in the teeth called radula for feeding.
- They are not filter feeding organisms.
The feeding methods of bivalves:
- They feed form the water.
- They feed on phytoplankton that are seen in water.
- They feed on the smaller things that pass through their grills.
- These are filter feeding organisms.
