Cleisthenes or Solon ended the practice of enslaving debtors

Answer: Ended the practice of enslaving debtors

Cleisthenes or Solon ended the practice of enslaving debtors. Solon was appointed by the rulers of ancient Greece to overlook some problems prevailing in ancient Greece and come up with initiatives to solve them too. Solon came up with laws which prevent debtors from enslaving people which was a major relief to a lot of people who were trapped with debt, along with many other reforms which propelled Athens to become a major economical hub.
