Explanation:

Point slope form is
y - y_(1) = m(x - x_(1))

Find "m", the slope, using the formula for slope. Substitute the coordinates of the two points.

Point 1 (0, 25) x₁ = 0; y₁ = 25

Point 2 (5, 0) x₂ = 5; y₂ = 0


m = (y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2) - x_(1))


m = (0-25)/(5 - 0)


m = (-25)/(5)


m = -5

Substitute the slope and any point into the point slope formula. I will use (5, 0)


y - 0 = -5(x - 5)
