His title is being the Chief Executive ,

b) what can he/she do?

While his business responsibilities include, making sure that all of his/her cabinet, staff, and other employees do their job correctly and there there is everything accounted for. To help employees to prevent mistakes from happening and motivating solutions should anything happen.
