Answer:

The number of whole dumpling does Omar make is 14 .

Explanation:

Given as :

The number of cups does Omar has to make dumplings = x = 2
(5)/(8)

i.e x =
(16 + 5)/(8)

or, x =
(21)/(8)

Again

The number of cups uses for each dumpling = y =
(3)/(16)

i.e y =
(3)/(16)

Let The number of whole dumpling does Omar make = z

So, number of whole dumpling does Omar make =
(\textrm number of cups does Omar has to make dumplings)/(number of cups uses for each dumpling )

Or, z =
(x)/(y)

Or, z =
((21)/(8))/((3)/(16))

Or, z =
(21* 16)/(8* 3)

∴ z = 7 × 2

i.e z = 14

So, The number of whole dumpling does Omar make = z = 14

Hence, The number of whole dumpling does Omar make is 14 . Answer
