The DNA structure was first produced by the Franklin on the X-ray. Watson and Crick explain the DNA structure on the basis of the 3 D structure produced by the Rosalind Franklin.

The DNA structure explains that the different arrangement of the nitrogenous bases contain information. The pairing of the thymine with the adenine and cytosine with the guanine determines the order of one strand. The other strand will be complementary to that strand. The unwinding of the DNA molecule causes each strand copied into complementary strand. This will produce the exact replication of the parental strand.
