President has been conferred with treaty power, appointment power, legislative powers,specific and other inherent powers as per the constitution.

president can sign and negotiate treaties with other nations. However, the policies signed by the president have to be vetoed by the senate in order to become valid. president has powers to appoint ambassadors, members of supreme and federal courts. He is also conferred with legislative powers wherein he decides the legislative agenda in the Union and state which is called the joint session.

He can veto a bill which is an important power and it takes two thirds majority of both the houses which is difficult to achieve. Power to pardon the Federal crimes.
