How do I write x-y=1 over 5 in slope intercept form

Answer:

y = x - 1/5

Explanation:

Slope intercept form is y = mx + b, so just use algenra to get the equation with y by itself.

x-y=1/5

-y = 1/5 - x

y = -1/5 + x

y = x - 1/5
