2 reasons why Britain guaranteed support to Poland in 1939?

  1. Germany had invaded Poland.
  2. Britain had guaranteed to support her ally just like it had supported Belgium in WW1.
  3. It was a fatal guarantee as said by Sir Nicholas Henderson. (my own thought.)
