Why, ostensibly, has Raskolnikov come to see Porfiry? What’s his real reason? What are some things that contribute to Raskolnikov’s nervousness?

Answer: The correct answer is : Raskolnikov has come to see Porfiry apparently to make a statement about his lost pawns. But really the real reason why Raskolnikov is there is because he wants to find out how much Porfiry knows about his crime. Raskolnikov gets nervous because he feels that Porfiry already knows that he is the murderer. Porfiry uses some psychological tricks to make Raskolnikov very nervous, for example he laughs on his face, asks if he has nothing suspicious, if he wants me to sponsor him, Porfiry pretends he thinks he is innocent.
