We need to find the distance it can spray.

Solution:

Since Water sprayed by the sprinkler is in circular form.

We can say that distance it can spray is equal to the radius.

So we will find the radius, to find the distance it can spray.

Now Area of Circle is given by π times square of the radius.

Framing in equation form we get;


\pi r^2=283\\\\r^2 =(283)/(\pi)=90.0817

taking square root on both side we get;


√(r^2)=√(90.0817)\\  \\r = 9.49 \ m \approx 9.5\ m

Hence Sprinkler can spray approximately 9.5 m.
