What is the slope for 4x+2y= -2

To find the slope:
1) divide everything by 2 and you get:
2x+y=-1
2) then you want to make sure the equation is in y = mx + b formula, so in order to do that you would subtract 2x from both sides to get y = -2x-1
3) the slope is m and in this case it is -2
