Antony's use of anticipation as a persuasive technique.

Step-by-step explanation:

Antony is one of the character from William Shakespeare’s play, ‘Julius Caesar.’ In the play Antony have made use of anticipation as a persuasive technique.

In this technique, a person or author puts himself in his audience shoes and expects what the audience is assuming based on the question. We find that Antony have built up anticipation in the play. One example of this is while introducing Caesar’s will.

Caesar is a close friend of Antony and after his death Antony points out towards Caesar’s will but never actually read it. This creates a suspense in the audience mind and they’re eager to hear Antony’s words.
