Émile Durkheim argued that crime is normal in society because it is necessary and part of normality in one society. A society without a crime is not normal at all. Crime serves as a distuingish norm of the society from right to wrong. Crime is a crime because it violates moral views of the society or people. Crimes also give way for the society to change. People are forced to cooperate if there is a crime because law and rules imposition will follow afterwards. Crimes is needed and will always be a part of one's society if people are into progress and moral standards.
