So if these two shapes are parallelograms, then the opposite angles are congruent. Right where the two parallelograms touch there are two lines crossing and those are vertical angles and they make congruent angles. So angle L and angle N (in LENS) and angle N (in NGTH) and angle T are all congruent. See image.
