When you cheat you are pretty much not learning anything. Let’s say you have to take a test later on. When you cheat on a homework that probably would have help you understand what will be in the test and if you end up coping only, you are really not getting anything from it, and you probably will fail. Since when we copy we are not really putting attention to what is happening in whatever the thing is.
