Work Shown:

1 pound = 16 ounces

3 pounds = 48 ounces (multiply both sides by 3)

Based on that, we can then say,

(750 calories)/(10 ounces) = (x calories)/(48 ounces)

750/10 = x/48

75 = x/48

x/48 = 75

x = 48*75

x = 3600
