The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.
The Nucleus is the brain of the cell.
The Nucleolus is the ribosome producer or the factory.
The RER is the protein producer.
The SER is the fatty (lipid) producer.
Lysosomes are the janitors or the cleaning crew.
Ribosomes are the producers (in general they produce different proteins).
The Golgi body is the mailman or shippers.
Vacuoles are storage or refrigerators.
Cytoplasm is like jello, a filter, or a screen door.
Cell membranes are like skin, clothes, or even protectors.
