9. A mother is 27 years older than her daughter. A year ago, the mother was twice as old as her daughter. How old is each now? System: Answer​

The mother is 55 now and the daughter is 28 now

Explanation

Basically the mom is 27 years older than her daughter right? So 27 times 2 because she is double her daughters age. You'll end up with 27x2=54. As the question says, a year ago the mother was twice as old from the daughter. So add 1 year to each of the numbers. 27 becomes 28 and 54 becomes 55. I hope this helps
