5) Mike and Mei each improved their yards by planting daylilies and shrubs. They bought their

supplies from the same store. Mike spent $70 on 5 daylilies and 5 shrubs. Mei spent $62 on 1
daylily and 5 shrubs. Find the cost of one daylily and the cost of one shrub.

1 shrub cost $12
1 daylily cost $2

1 D: $2
5 S: $60
60+2= 62

5*2=10
5*12=60
60+10=70
