Gold (Au) in its bulk form, like the metal in a wedding ring, is not considered a magnetic material. ... This means that metallic gold has no unpaired electrons, and it does not display classical magnetism. Gold was one of the first metal known to man. Gold is most malleable and ductile of all metals.
