protons are positive and neutrons are neutral however electrons are negative protons are located in the nucleus

There are protons, neutrons and electrons. The protons have positive charge and they are located in the nucleus. The neutrons have a neutral charge and are located in the nucleus as well. The electrons are located outside of the nucleus, but we never really know where exactly they are because they are always moving. They're most likely found in the orbital. They also have negative charge.
