There are 52 cards in a deck. If there are 4 suits with each having a jack, king, and queen, what is the probability of picking out a jack, king, or queen from the deck?

In a deck of 52 cards there are 4 Kings, 4 Queens and 4 jacks. So probability of drawing a good card is (4+4+4)/52 = 12/52 = 3/13.
