The main duty of women were to do home chores, take care of children, and cook. The mens duty was to basically work and go home maybe do some chores here and there.
Thats why in the popularity of flapper girls in the 1920s were kinda hated because those women stepped out of bounds and got jobs and did “abnormal” things that women wouldnt do in the 1920 and before.
