You have a recipe that indicates to use 6 parts of sugar for every 5 parts of flour. You use 24 cups of sugar. How much flour do you need?

20 parts of flour

Because if you use 24 cups of sugar divide that by 6 resulting 4, which indicates that you used 6 parts 4 times, the multiply 5x4 giving you 20 which is how much flour you need
