A shoe store uses a ​40% markup for all of the shoes it sells. What would be the selling price of a pair of shoes that has a wholesale cost of ​$71​?

Answer:

40% * 71 = Markup price

40% of 71 is 28.4, so i added the two together and got 99.4

so...

$28.4 + $71 = $99.40
