Explanation:

To find slope, you have to use two points and use the formula
(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

Here one point is (2,6), and other point is (4,8)

Substitute to get
(2)/(2) which equals 1.

To find y-intercept, x should be 0. If x is 0 then why in this case would be 4
