Answer: y = ¹/₂ x - 1

Explanation:

To write this line in the slope-intercept (y=mx+c) form, all we need in addition to the information given is the slope. Since we know the x-intercept and y-intercept,

then slope = value of y-intercept ÷ (- value of x-intercept)

= ¹/₂

∴ the line is y = ¹/₂ x - 1
