Overprinting currency led to the Roaring Twenties and the Stock Market Crash because the more money is printed, the less the dollar is worth. When more money was printed, the inflation rose very fast. Since inflation rose, people were taking out loans that would never be able to be repaid. Because of this, the banks collapsed along with the economy.
